It's Time to Recharge the Body, Mind and Soul - Gearing up for the Season of Change
As we move into the month of September, we begin to wind down from all the crazy energies from the previous summer months. And boy, has it been hectic!
I know, for me, it's been one crazy shift after another. Trying to stay centered has been one of the biggest challenges of the summer and being able to hold patience and kindness for myself hasn't been easy. It's important to remember that we are imperfectly imperfect beings and we will fall at times. It's how we rise and learn how to be stronger is what matters.
It's time to shift gears and re-center ourselves through kindness acts of reflection, release and inspiration.
Giving yourself time to reflect on the past events, feelings and lessons that you've had is important as you start to re-center yourself and prepare for the new energies coming in. I almost see it as a soulful cleanse. I encourage you to journal on the following questions and thoughts;
What has impacted your life the most this summer? Why?
And how can you take these lessons into the upcoming months?
What do you need to change?
What do you need to start? Stop?
How can you do better moving forward?
What might you be resisting?
Where can you shift some boundaries?
How can you take better care of yourself?
This is where things can get a little tricky. Being able to release the things that do no serve you and create the change(s) you need to make can be difficult when they feel so strong and have impacted you greatly. Allow yourself to move through it and give yourself the necessary time to do so. However, releasing the uncertainty and negativity is going to give you the space you need to move forward on a clearer more mindful path. So stay focused on what serves you best and if you need more time to process these feelings then take that time.
Otherwise, sit with them, learn from them and release them.
What has inspired you over these last few months? What do you resonate with the most around this inspiration? And how can you inspire others moving forward?
Giving some thought to this will create some energy around doing and being better. You can start to see how you can make an impact and start creating whatever it is you need to make a difference. Whether that's a new self care routine, starting a new course or creating a side business, think it through and make a plan to get it going! Ask for the support you need from the people around you and find someone to keep you accountable and on track. Spend time building the network you need to move you through it all with ease and comfort. I know you might think you can do it on your own, but things can go a lot more easier and with more joy when shared with those you trust and love.
Make this a mindful transition into the fall season and remain open to whatever is put in front of you. Embrace it with a clear mind and heart and you will find yourself settling in with more love and compassion.
Have a great week!
